Michael Wilkinson is an off-ice hockey coach specialising in strength and conditioning for junior and senior hockey players. With a focus on building stronger, faster and more resilient athletes, Michael helps players improve their performance away from the ice through structured gym-based training.
His coaching combines hockey-specific strength work, conditioning, movement quality, injury prevention and confidence-building. Whether working with developing junior players or experienced senior athletes, Michael’s sessions are designed to improve power, speed, balance, endurance and physical readiness for the demands of the game.
Based at Chapter Gym in Rochester, Michael creates a supportive but challenging training environment where hockey players can develop the strength, fitness and mindset needed to compete at a higher level.

Chapter Gym is located in the heart of Medway at Gundulph House, Gundulph Road, Chatham, ME4 4ED. We are perfectly positioned on the border of Rochester and Chatham, just a short distance from both historic high streets.
By Foot: A 10–15 minute walk from both Chatham and Rochester train stations.
By Car: Easy access from Strood, Gillingham, and the A2.
Parking: We have limited on-site private parking for members.
Local Car Park: Easons Yard (ME1 1BU): A convenient 6-minute walk away.
